  • Income Limit: The annual income of the parent/guardian of a student must not exceed the figure of ₹2.50 lakh.

Component 2: Pre-Matric Scholarship to Children of Parents/Guardians Dealing with Filthy and Inhospitable Vocation

  • Eligibility: The award is open for students studying full-time from Class I up to X level.
  • Occupational Eligibility: The award is applied to the child/ward whose parents/guardians, disregarding their caste or religion fall in any such category as herein below:

Application Procedure For Pre-Matric Scholarship

1) New Registration or First-Time Applicants

  • Visit the official portal NSP for the registration.
  • Go to the New Registration option placed under Applicant Corner.
  • Read the guidelines and give an undertaking then click on Continue.
  • Enter mobile number
  • Complete registration with the OTP. 
  • Fill in your Aadhaar details along with your Bank Account details and click on the submit button.  

2) Already Registered Applicant

  • The applicant will visit the NSP portal and click the Fresh Application option
  • The applicant enters the application ID along with the password
  • Select the Pre-Matric Scholarship scheme
  • Submit the online application form
  • Upload required documents
  • Click on submit or apply

  • Visit the official portal of NSP.
  • Fill in OTR(one-time registration) number
  • Tap on “Get OTP”
  • Enter the OTP and fill in the captcha
  • Press on the enter button
